The days after the April Revolution .......
After April 25, Portugal was swept into a period of intense change and uncertainty known as the PREC. People took to the streets to claim their rights, while agrarian reform reshaped the countryside.
Despite tensions, this turbulent time led to the 1976 Constitution and the foundations of today’s democracy, alongside a powerful return of long-suppressed freedoms.
