Guided Tour - Museu do Oriente

Opened in 2008 and housed in a former port warehouse in Alcântara, the Museu do Oriente is a multicultural institution dedicated to showcasing the history of the Portuguese presence in Asia and fostering intercultural dialogue between Portugal and the East. 

Join us for a guided tour of the Museu do Oriente’s permanent collection plus visit to the temporary exhibition ‘Japan: Festivities and Rites’ offering a captivating insight into Japan’s celebrations, deities, rituals and symbolic objects.

MEETING POINT:  entrance to the Museu do Oriente, Doca de Alcântara Norte, Avenida Brasilia 352, 1350-352 Lisbon

Price: €16 incl. audioguides. (Entrance to the museum is additional but will be dependent on group size.)
