Shopping in Lisbon - Tips and Hidden Gems
Wednesday 12th November
This is an update to a previous talk by Sarah Foss, our resident expert shopper.
Sarah Foss has had a lifelong love of shopping, and since August of 2018 she has had a ball exploring the shops of Lisbon. She loves the tiny independent shops, and the quirkier the better. Boutiques run by a real shopkeeper are a dying breed, and it’s her goal to introduce the ladies of IWP to some of Lisbon’s great shopping streets and hidden gems.
She also understands the frustration of struggling to find particular items and has endeavoured to locate shops that can fill those needs. Hunting and gathering can be enjoyable!
Good Company is an independent English language bookstore which also has a cafe with coffee, a wine bar and small bites. Good Company Bookstore is located near Campo Pequeno metro station (yellow line) or a few blocks walk from Saldanha station (yellow and red lines) at Av. Visconde de Valmor 2, 1000-291 Lisbon. Feel free to bring your wine or coffee downstairs to the meeting room or to relax and chat after the presentation.
Bio for Sarah Foss
