Lisbon - Stories of a Revolution

Revolutions, military uprisings, shootings, assassinations, armed clashes, and even hand-to-hand combat shook the streets of Lisbon on October 4 and 5, 1910.

From Parque Eduardo VII to Praça do Município, we will retrace the key places and meet the main figures of the revolutionary movement that brought the Portuguese Republic to life, ending centuries of monarchy. Republicans, Freemasons, soldiers, and ordinary citizens all played decisive roles in this historic turning point.
