We are pleased to announce a second tour of the Vista Alegre exposition on Monday, January 27, due to the overwhelming demand for the first tour. Tour 1 (now fully booked) will run from 10h30 to 11h30, and the newly added Tour 2 will take place from 11h30 to 12h30
"Towards Infinity – Vista Alegre," 200 Years of Creativity" is the name of the exhibition that just opened to the public at the Ajuda National Palace, revealing creations that have marked the history of this brand with a heritage rich in culture and tradition.
In the year in which it celebrates its 200th anniversary, Vista Alegre presents a unique collection, consisting of more than 400 pieces, always with art as a central element. Among them are porcelain pieces, furniture, lighting, textiles, cutlery and crystal.
They are presented in the formal dining hall of the Ajuda Palace where normally state dinners are held, all served on Vista Alegre Porcelain. The pieces shown in this exposition are borrowed from the National Museum of Antique Art, from the Vista Alegre museum, the Fundação Medeiros and Almeida and also from the private collection of the owner family of João Pinto Bastos.
