The National Museum of Ancient Art (Museu Nacional de Arte Antigua) is the most important Art Museum of Portugal.  With over 40 000 items dating back as early as the 12th century, spanning a vast collection of painting, sculpture, goldware, furniture, textiles, ceramics and prints, MNAA is also one of the most visited museums in Portugal. 

Housed in a former residence-palace of the Marquis de Pombal, the collection includes notable artworks by Hieronymus Bosch, Raphael, Hans Holbein the Elder, Albrecht Dürer among numerous others.

Together, we  will discover a selection of the most important departments and art pieces of this museum.
