Afternoon Tea at Hotel do Chiado

Not to be mistaken with our regular Afternoon “Tea” at Casa da Guia

Join us for Afternoon Tea at the Hotel do Chiado´s rooftop bar/restaurant in Lisbon. Located in the trendy Chiado district, the hotel is housed in the Armazéns Shopping Centre. Hotel do Chiado’s panoramic bar on the 7th floor overlooks the city including the iconic historic landmark Castelo de São Jorge and the Tagus River.

Afternoon Tea at Hotel do Chiado has an interesting story behind it. The hotel challenged food writer Paula Bollinger to develop a traditional English tea menu with Portuguese notes. In addition to the usual Afternoon Tea fare of mini sandwiches, scones, pastries (including pastel de nata), and tea, the menu includes Bollingeto (ice cream with coffee, chocolate ganache, and walnuts) and a glass of Madeira wine.

The hotel donates 1€ of the cost of Afternoon Tea to the foundation ´"O Cantinho da Bella".
