June is the month when Lisbon celebrates the Popular Saints also known as ‘Santos Populares’ which is in honour of Saint Anthony, Saint John and Saint Peter, three very special Saints for the Portuguese people.
The Lisbon streets will be beautifully decorated and everyone goes outside and makes every possible street a party, with food and music, friends and family representing everything the summer is about. Our guide will tell us about the legends and miracles connected to these patron saints.
