Gary Damian Thomas is an autodidactic polymath with manic tendencies, or put another way, is a guy who never went to college, is self-taught, gets bored easily and has wild impulses to create stuff. He is known primarily as a motion picture storyboard artist and during his twenty-eight year career has worked on over 140 feature films including Black Panther, Zero Dark Thirty, Tropic Thunder, LA Confidential and Forgetting Sara Marshall. His other pursuits include, directing, writing, painting, drawing, cartooning, writing songs, composing instrumental music and playing piano. Since relocating to Cascais, Portugal from Venice California in the spring of 2022, he has hosted an exhibition of watercolor landscapes, completed a companion book entitled Cascais in Watercolor, published the novel, Love in the Flow, and composed a string quartet.
