Largest Street Art Collection in Europe

Guided tour of the largest street art collection in Europe, the neighborhood Quinta do Mocho, Sacavém. 

"Once upon a time there was a neighbourhood with a bad reputation. One day some painters came along and magic happened."

This public housing neighborhood was initially created to host African immigrants arriving from the former Portuguese colonies. In 2014 the local government started a program to improve the bad image of this neighborhood by inviting famous national and international street artists to embellish the buildings. As this area will  soon be renovated and it’s street art will be erased, it’s our last chance to see these stunning works!

All the proceeds of this tour will go to the local neighbourhood association.

You are welcome to stay for lunch at Café da Elsa (Cabo Verde food) for an extra cost of 15€.

• 10h00  Arrival and visit to the Exhibition at Casa da Cultura 
• 10h30  Start of Tour

• 11h30  Second Half of the Tour 
• 12h30  Lunch at Café da Elsa (Optional)
